Olamide Adedeji, known as Olamide is an indigenous language Hip-Hop recording artist/songwriter with his own record label YBNL. Via this imprint, some of Nigeria’s leading musicians’ career have been birthed including Adekunle Gold, Lil Kesh, Viktoh, Chinko Ekun He has 7 albums to his name - one for every year since his debut in 2011. Olamide has arguably the most number of collaboration singles on the scene with over 280 songs in 6 years. KANA is the rd track he has with Wizkid. In 2017, Olamide became the first rapper to hold a stadium concert in Lagos, with a crowd of over 12,000 people in attendance. He also has his own channel on cable TV (VOTS on Play TV). Shaku Shaku, the predominant dance craze on the Afrobeats owes much of its momentum to Olamide whose pioneering video WO! was one of the first to popularize the trend.
